A couple of minutes on the phone leads to two loads of laundry, a bath, a hosing down of the kitchen, the laptop and the light fixture above.
Remind me why I became a mother.
Today the bookclub is meeting to discus "To Kill A Mockiingbird". I somehow managed to live 40+ years without reading this classic.
I enjoyed it very much and learned a great deal about southern culture.
Zoe and I watched the movie together. She loved it even though it was in black and white.
Owen loves to draw
As of today I have been sick for a month. I had a cold that turned into an ear infection that turned into a lymph node infection, that then turned into pneumonia.
I'm almost over it now, but still exhausted. I managed to infect my son with pneumonia (big time guilty mom). Zoe was also sick with an ear infection and a sinus infection. We did not celebrate much over the holidays. I missed a lot of work and now need to get my life back on track.
Bob set up Owen's toddler bed tonight. He and Zoe are jumping on it right now. I think it's going to be a long night.
