While I'm not the most technologically minded person, I'm still trying. I just finished an InDesign class, now taking a Photoshop class, trying to learn html, and improve my blogging.
I'm now working on understanding Technorati. It's a blog about blogs? Or a site about blogs? It lets you organize all the blogs you read. http://dotcomfamily.blogspot.com
Can anyone explain why it's so important?

If you tag your entries, they get picked up by Technorati, and then people surfing for content that correspond to your tags might visit your blog, thus upping hits/traffic, which is mainly important if you are hoping that they will also click on advertisers and make you some money.
Otherwise, probably pointless.
